It's my own fault. Really- what was I thinking. I did something so incredibly stupid. I said OUT LOUD... "We've haven't even been sick this winter." Yep, I know, not smart. I am not kidding. Withing about 2 hours of uttering the fateful words Avery came down with a fever. She was throwing up by dinner. She had croup by morning and we were in the Dr.'s office for the usual steroid treatment by the next day. In the meantime Michael got sick that night, but held it together long enough to go to the Walking with Dinosaurs show. Withing an hour of coming home Dylan had a 103 fever and I was running a toasty 101. We are a site to see. Haley now has her fever to match. (You know Haley.... she just can't be left out of something). Ugggg I have learned my lesson!!! I will never utter the fateful words again.

Oh no!!! Your family gets sick more than any other family I know! Hey at least you made it half way through january before the sickness came!
I totally know what you're talking about. I don't even have to say it out loud - I just have begin thinking that no one has been sick. Ugh. I'm so sorry.
Come on-you of all people should know that those words will seel your fate! Sorry that they are all sick.
Tell yourself that when they are all better that you are going to go to dinner with one of your favorite friends!!!
Sorry to hear you are all sick. Hopefully the sickness will be one of those 24 or 48 hour ones and not one of the ones that last for days. You need to get well so we can come see you guys in Mar. I do however understand what you mean I always think, "Oh we haven't had a challange for a while." No later right after the thought comes to mind the phone will ring or something comes in the mail. It's life! Love you guys.

Karen I'm sorry your family has been sick, hopefully by now everyone is feeling better. I hope you remember who I am :) It's been a long time since we graduated - almost 12 years - crazy how time flies! Please send me an email and I can invite you to my blog.
