Just Hangin' Around

So I feel like I have been not doing my blogging duties lately. We haven't really even been doing that much just kind of hanging around. We did carve pumpkins the other night which is always Huge hit. Dylan wanted me to take this picture of him with a pumpkin for his head. He thinks it's soooooo funny which I'd have to agree with him! This year we did the "funkins" which are the carvable fake pumpkins. Every other year we do these and then we can keep them around as decorations and they don't get rotten and stinky!
I still need to take a picture of all the finished products all-a-glow! : ) I've just been too busy or maybe too lazy. I'm not quite sure. Stayed tuned for an update

Ok I may be stupid or just out of the loop but, what is a carve-able pumpkin? Can you put a candle in it? I think those would be great. Where do I get one? I have to do a haunted Barn for the yearly teenager halloween and I'm out of Ideas!!!! Some help would be nice. Love Tam

I was wondering why you were carving pumpkins this early. Great idea. I will have to get me some when it's end of the season and save them for next year.
Remember when we carved pumpkins for a ward family night. It was your birthday and that kid went around the house and gathered up other peoples things and gave them to you? He was so weird! that was also the time when I was on a Peach cobbler kick-pretty sure I made some every day for a couple weeks! i wish I still had that recipe-cause it was quite good!
now, that I stop and think about it, we sure did a lot of stupid things in college. We had random men over to our house all the time, and we didn't even know them. We were just trusting. I was never once scared in that house. Ever. I did move out though before all the crap went on. :)
I am jealous of where you live. I have seen the commercials for the Scarecrow festival and looks like it would be super fun!! You are going right? I guess I can just live vicariously through you! (I used to do that all the time in college when we would go to old navy and you could shop in the childrens section, and buy twice as much as everyone else) There are many times now that I wish I could give up eating to buy clothes instead. Pretty sure we would have saved a lot of money if there wouldn't have been a old navy 2 blocks away!
Ok-this post is super random and super long. Do you really want to get together and do some crafting? I am totally up for it. You come here-I have a craft room with more crap in it than you can shake a stick at. I will make sure to find a couple of sewing projects for you to do for me while you are here. I can even get a relatively new machine for you to use. Maybe I could even take some lessons.
Ok-one last thought, i promise. I would love to do a swap with you. You know, just put some stuff together that we think eachother would love? I think I can still do that. I am really serious about this one. Who doesn't love to get packages in the mail. Or, we can switch when you come up to craft and eat chocolate!
